The color will appear darker immediately following the procedure but will soften during the healing process. Patients may experience some swelling and redness for which they'll apply ice and an antibiotic ointment. You will experience and initial peel in approximately 5-7 days. The skin will continue to heal for about 4 - 6 weeks while the skin goes through a full regeneration cycle. After that, you may return for a touch up.
As with any tattoo, the pigment may fade over the years. It is common to return on occasion to refresh the color. Exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun or tanning beds can affect the appearance of your tattoo and can excelerate fading. Sun block and sunglasses will help to extend the life of your "make-up."
"Basic Eyeliner" can be applied using a single color for top & bottom, or a contrasting color can be applied to the bottom line for a softer effect. "Lash Enhancement" places the pigment right into the lash base instead of a line on top of the lashes. This creates a more subtle natural look. For a "smudgier" look, tiny little dots of pigment can be tapped into the skin which gives an alternative to a solid line.

Many of us discover that our eyebrows are asymmetrical. If one eyebrow is higher than the other, or shaped differently, you have three choices: 1) leave them uneven to incorporate your own brow hairs growing in the tattooed area, 2) make small adjustments to improve the symmetry (color high on the low side and color low on the high side) - to create a more balanced look, 3) create a totally new set of eyebrows with permanent makeup and tweeze or wax the hair to remove them from outside the tattooed boundries.
For people with little or no eyebrow hairs, the best technique will be to use hairstrokes in at least two shades of color. A brow can be made to look nice with one color, but multiple colors will produce a more 3 dimensioinal look. The hairstroke technique results in a very natural appearance. The edges will be more feathery instead of a sharp drawn on look. For brows that that are naturally fuller, then a powder shading underneath the natural hair can create more fullness and color and can accentuate the shape.

Men can also benefit from some natural looking enhancements

1) Lip liner 2) Full lip color

Applying accent colors above the eyeliner is fast becoming the sought after look. Stacked eyeliner is one color on top of another. This can be done with any combination of colors, but is usually dark black/brown in the lash base with medium to lighter colors shades above it. Accent colors which blend into each other softens the look for those who like a thick upper eyeliner.
